A rich, full and plush Merlot with lots of smoky, toasty oak, coffee, cigar, stewed plums and berries. Subtle violet aromas mix with shortbread and liqueur chocolate cherry. The palate is soft and round with ripe tannins and intense flavours of Christmas cake, dried blueberry and raspberry with espresso and a subtle, fresh mint note on the finish.
Try with braised short ribs or slowly roasted lamb shank.
